Job Overview
We’re building an energetic, outgoing team of Event Promoters to represent Shugarman’s Bath at the LA County Fair from May 7–31, 2026. This is a seasonal opportunity with strong earning potential in a fun, high-energy environment. This position offers hourly pay plus uncapped commission—meaning the more appointments you set, the more you earn.

In this role, you’ll be on the front lines of our booth—starting conversations, connecting with fair attendees, and turning great interactions into scheduled appointments with our design team, which is your main goal.

This is not a passive or behind-the-table role—you’ll be on your feet, expected to stay energized throughout your shift and interacting with dozens (or hundreds) of people per day You’ll also help maintain an inviting booth presence.

We are hiring multiple team members and training must begin by May 4, 2026 to ensure everyone is fully prepared before the fair starts.

What You’ll Do:

• Connect with people walking by our LA County Fair booth, start friendly conversations, and build trust to spark interest in our products and services.
• Book appointments for customers to meet with our design team.
• Answer questions about our bath remodel process — don’t worry, we’ll teach you everything you need to know!
• Set up and maintain a professional, eye-catching booth display.

What You Should Know: 

• Schedule: 2 shifts available: 10:30am - 4:30pm and 4pm-10pm
• Employment Type: Part-Time 
• Paid bi-monthly
• Compensation: 
  • Hourly Rate: $20 per hour
  • Bonus Opportunities: For each appointment you book that results in an in-home demonstration with one of our Design Consultants, you will earn $100.
  • Potential Earnings: With bonuses, team members average $40–$60 per hour

Requirements 

• Must be able to start training by May 4, 2026
• Must be available to work May 7–May 31, 2026
• Must be available to work Thursday through Sunday
• Must be energetic and outgoing
• Must have reliable and consistent transportation (punctuality is essential for this position)
• Must have High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience in sales and customer service is preferred, but not required

Physical Demands 

• Must be able to stand for prolonged periods.
