We're looking for a driven, resourceful, and people-oriented Recruiter who knows how to find great candidates, build connections, and turn hiring needs into successful hires.

This is a hands-on recruiting role for someone who enjoys the hunt for great talent. You know where to look, how to get candidates interested, and aren't afraid to pick up the phone to make things happen. We're not looking for someone who simply posts job ads and waits for applications. We need someone who takes initiative, actively sources candidates, follows up without being reminded, and knows how to keep things moving with a sense of urgency. This is not an entry-level opportunity; we're looking for someone who already has recruiting experience and can hit the ground running.

Working closely with our People Operations Manager and hiring managers, you'll take ownership of multiple open positions, build and maintain a strong pipeline of candidates, track recruiting results, and bring fresh ideas to make our hiring process even better.

What you’ll be doing

• Source and attract talent: Proactively source candidates and build a strong talent pipeline for current and future openings.
• Create and manage job ads: Help write job ads that attract the right people, and manage postings across Indeed, ADP, LinkedIn, and other recruiting platforms.
• Screen candidates: Review applications, make outreach calls, and conduct initial phone screens to find qualified candidates quickly.
• Coordinate interviews: Schedule interviews, keep candidates and hiring managers informed, and move qualified candidates through each step of the process.
• Keep recruiting on track: Manage multiple open positions, follow up with candidates and hiring managers, and make sure next steps aren’t falling through the cracks.
• Maintain recruiting systems: Keep our ATS and internal recruiting trackers accurate and up to date.
• Track results: Monitor recruiting activity, including screens, interviews, hires, and time to fill, and provide regular updates on progress.
• Help us improve: Identify ways to attract better candidates, streamline recruiting, and strengthen our talent pipeline.
• Build better recruiting tools: Help create and update the processes and tools that support hiring, such as screening questions, interview guides, candidate messages, and recruiting reports.
• Drive our employee referral program: Take an active role in promoting and growing our existing referral program, encouraging employee participation, following up on referrals, and finding ways to keep great candidates coming through our team's network.
• Represent Shugarman’s Bath: Participate in job fairs, recruiting events, and other talent outreach activities as needed.

What are we looking for

• 2+ years of hands-on recruiting experience.
• Experience posting jobs and sourcing candidates through Indeed.
• Experience with ADP and/or JazzHR is a plus
• Experience managing multiple open positions simultaneously, preferably in a high-volume recruiting environment.
• Strong phone and communication skills; comfortable making outbound calls.
• Ability to screen candidates and identify qualified talent.
• Ability to work toward recruiting goals and consistently meet hiring deadlines
• Organized, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities.
• Self-motivated and goal-driven, with a strong sense of urgency.
• Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs and Sheets).
• Comfortable working with recruiting metrics and tracking hiring results.
• Able to handle confidential candidate and employee information.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Reliable transportation required.

The Schedule

• Full-time: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4 PM
• In-person at our office
• Very occasional evenings for recruiting events and job fairs
